Bad Bunny and adidas Originals Partner With F1 for Historic Event in Puerto Rico
The Puerto Rican artist and adidas Originals have joined forces with the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team to bring Formula 1 to his island.
Bad Bunny, adidas Originals, and the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team announced a partnership on Thursday that will bring Formula 1 to Puerto Rico for the first time ever.
On August 2, driver Esteban Gutiérrez will get behind the wheel of a Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 car as part of a demo run across the Puente Dos Hermanos bridge, marking the first time that an F1 vehicle has been on Puerto Rican soil. The event will be free to the public.
Following the event, attendees will have the opportunity to get an up-close look at the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 car, and visit an exhibit at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico, featuring authentic, historical racing gear from the team's archives.
To commemorate the special occasion, Bad Bunny has been appointed an unspecified role as the newest member of the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 team.
