Angel Reese will be joining Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart's new Unrivaled women's basketball league.

On Wednesday, Reese shared a post on her Instagram page in collaboration with Unrivaled, announcing her participation in the league's inaugural season in January 2025. In her post, Reese channeled her alter ego and asked fans to guess who might be next to join the growing league.

"THE BARBIE IS UNRIVALED👑 10/30✅ TAG WHO’S NEXT⬇️ #Unrivaled," she wrote.

Reese is the 10th athlete and first WNBA rookie to join Unrivaled. She'll be joining an incredible roster of athletes, including Stewart, Collier, Chelsea Gray, Arike Ogunbowale, Jewell Loyd, Kelsey Plum, Rhyne Howard, Kahleah Copper, and Jackie Young.

Stewart and Collier founded the women's basketball league earlier this month to allow WNBA players to stay in the United States instead of playing overseas during the offseason.

"It's the ability for players to stay home, to be in a market like Miami where we can just be the buzz and create that with the best WNBA players," Stewart told ESPN at the time of the announcement. "We can't keep fighting [the WNBA's prioritization rule]. It is a rule that takes away our choices, which should never be a thing, especially as women, but it is still a rule."

ESPN's Ramona Shelburne revealed that the new league will consist of 30 women on six teams, playing 3-on-3 and 1-on-1 full-court games in Miami, Florida, from January through March. According to a press release, the Unrivaled athletes will have equity and a vested interest in the league's success. The league is also offering contract opportunities with "the highest average salary in women's professional sports league history."
