Kyrie Irving is drawing a clear line and publicly denouncing the term "YN" during a recent livestream and making it clear he wants no affiliation with that movement.

During his livestream earlier this week, Irving slammed the viral term that describes a young man of color, making it clear he doesn't support the word or the culture behind it, despite it growing in popularity over the years.

"I don't support that YN generation y'all," Kyrie said bluntly. "I'm good bro. I love God too much to be a YN. I'm just going to put it like that. I love myself too much to be a YN bro."

The Dallas Mavericks star made it clear he doesn't have a problem with the term "Unc" and "OG" but went on to emphasize a deeper commitment to faith and self-respect, rejecting what he views as a self-destructive mentality embraced by some in the younger generation.

"You can call me Unc, Y-OG or whatever it is," he added. "We have a common enemy and y'all want to kill our own people, dog. I'm good."

While Irving made it clear he's not taking sides in gang politics, he also praised the OGs who are setting positive examples in their communities and promoting growth and responsibility among the youth.

"Anybody killing our own people — and I know war is war and I'm not getting into any gang politics," he said. "Shout out to all and salute to all OGs that's out there really putting the morals and principles into these youngins and putting their best foot forward and being family men."

He continued, "But yeah, that generation, those young [n***as], nah I'm good bro. Y'all can have that name, y'all can have that shit. I don't want anything to do with it. I'm not connected to it, nothing."
