O'Shea Jackson Jr., the son of hip-hop legend Ice Cube and a noted NBA fan, is baffled by the championship merchandise the league has made for the Oklahoma City Thunder — specifically the hats.

The Thunder made history Sunday night, clinching their first-ever NBA Championship with a 103-91 Game 7 victory over the Indiana Pacers. But while Oklahoma City fans celebrated the long-awaited title, one piece of championship merch didn't score points with everyone.

Jackson Jr. was one of the many people who took to X (formerly Twitter) to voice his disappointment with the design of the Thunder's official championship hat. The merchandise was a simple design that lacked a championship feel compared to other Finals hats in the past.

"YO WTF IS UP WITH THE NBA BRO," Jackson Jr. posted, reacting to the minimalist black cap, which features plain lettering and close to zero flair. Jackson wasn't alone either, as several NBA fans across social media echoed his frustration, criticizing the hat's bland aesthetic.

"Lowkey pretty glad we lost, that hat is horrible," one Pacers fan commented. Another wrote, "One of the worst hats I've ever seen."

A third person said, "They had a sweat shop in the locker room heat pressing those patches on generic hats lmao."

Even the Thunder's star player, Jalen Williams, was unhappy with the hats as he reposted an image of them on his Instagram Story with a caption that read, "They didn't even try..."
