The Undertaker Shares Thoughts on Hulk Hogan Getting Booed at 'Raw': 'That Was an Ego Pop'

The Undertaker doesn't feel bad that Hulk Hogan got booed during Monday Night Raw on Netflix, and he thinks the Hulkster should've expected that, given the controversies he's been involved in over the years.

On the latest episode of the Six Feet Under podcast, Taker explained that Hogan should've known fans wouldn't give him a warm reception and revealed he didn't have an ounce of sympathy for the legendary wrestler. According to the four-time WWE Champion, Hogan ignored the reaction, but sometimes, karma comes back too strong.

"That was an ego pop [...] When I saw him he was no selling it and pushing his beer," said Taker before being asked if he felt like giving Hogan a hug after getting the cold reaction from fans.

"No," he said in response. "I got feelings for people. Sometimes in life things come back. He was bigger than life, Americana kinda of deal, then he gets caught on tape saying some derogatory, racist things. In this day and age, where all of that is such a hot-button deal, I don't know what you expect. People are going to react, and they are not going to react in a positive way."

Hogan made an appearance during Monday Night Raw on Netflix alongside Jimmy Hart to promote his new beverage, Real American Beer, but was booed and jeered out of the arena. Over the years, Hogan has landed himself in hot water, such as making racist comments in a video back in 2007 and even admitting he's a racist. The incidents caused WWE to remove Hogan from the Hall of Fame, but he has since been reinstated.

Taker and Hogan have had friction in the past. The latter faked an injury during their championship match at the 1991 Survivor Series. Hogan was hit with Taker's signature Tombstone Piledriver finisher on top of a chair for the win, but Hogan claimed Taker botched the move and hurt his neck.

Video footage showed that Taker performed the move properly, and Hogan's head never touched the chair or mat. Taker confronted Hogan after seeing the video, but the latter made an excuse and left the situation alone.
