Hard in Da Paint: Scottie Pippen and Karl Malone's Most Badass Moments

Being known as "The Mailman" or as Robin to MJ's Batman (respectively) may not be the most intimidating monikers but tomorrow Karl Malone and Scottie Pippen will get their time to shine. That's right—the NBA greats will be inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame on Friday afternoon in Springfield, Massachusetts . These ballers have done it all from setting numerous NBA records to giving out ferocious facials (II). Word to the man with the Gumby chain, these dudes truly went hard in the muthafuckin' paint. So, in honor of the two hardwood legends, check out this YouTube collection of Scottie Pippen and Karl Malone's most badass (on and off the court) moments...

Moment: During game 6 of the 1994 Eastern Conference Semifinals, Pippen delivered this monstrous dunk over Patrick Ewing. The Bulls went on to win the game but the Knicks won the series in seven games.

Complex says: Yup, we enjoy facials just as much as your favorite porn stars. Pause.

Pippen: "The Mailman Doesn't Deliver on Sunday"

When: 6/1/1997

Moment: With only seconds remaining in Game 1 of the 1997 NBA Finals, Karl Malone went to the free throw line with the game tied and a chance to give Utah the lead. Pippen psyched him out beforehand by telling him "Just remember, the mailman doesn't deliver on Sundays, Karl." Malone missed both free throws and MJ went on to hit the game-winning shot for the Bulls.

The Mailman sets a Playoff Franchise Record

When: 4/22/2000

Moment: At 36, Malone became the oldest player to score 50 points in a playoff game, and set a Utah Jazz franchise record for most points in a playoff game.
