It seems people can't hold onto their cars in Cali.

According to the National Insurance Crime Bureau, eight of the top 10 areas for car theft in 2010 were in Cali, including the top three. But the FBI is reporting that for the seventh year in a row, car thefts overall are dropping. We'll have to wait for the FBI's final report, to be released this fall, but it seems that between 2009 and 2010 there's been a 7.2% drop in car thefts, bringing car thefts down to the lowest level since 1967.
