Cristiano Ronaldo Makes an Unholy Amount of Money Per Sponsored Instagram Post

Read this if you want to feel sad about your life.

According to current estimates, I bank approximately $0.00 for each of my Instagram posts, regardless of content. This makes my life very difficult. Portugal national team and Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo, though, does not make $0.00 on Instagram.

Ronaldo allegedly averages nearly $400,000 for each sponsored Instagram post, according to the biblical bros over at Bro Bible.

The report, citing stats from (of all fucking places) the Mirror, also claims that Ronaldo's per-post haul places him square in the middle of the highest earning Instagram personalities. Selena Gomez tops the list, with Kim Kardashian in second. Kylie and Kendall Jenner round out the top five.

So what does one of these Instagram posts in the $300,000 to $400,000 ballpark look like? Presumably, like this:

Forbesreported last month that Ronaldo, the highest paid athlete on the planet, had been accused of tax evasion. Ronaldo allegedly failed to pay $16.5 million in taxes by funneling image rights income through offshore companies. Ronaldo's management later issued a statement saying that no income had been hidden.

"In the case of Cristiano Ronaldo, no income was hidden at all, since the taxpayer settled and paid taxes at the time he collected the income (within the period legally established and previous to any tax inspection)," Gestifute said.
