Chad Ochocinco Is Single, Splits With Fianceé Sharelle Rosado
His ex-fianceé, Sharelle Rosado, shared the heartbreaking news of their split on X.
Chad Ochocinco is single again according to his ex-fianceé Sharelle Rosado.
The star of the reality TV show Selling Tampa announced the split on X with a sternly worded post. “Chad and I are no longer together please stop tagging us,” wrote Rosado. “He is a free man, ladies."
Ochocinco responded to the message with a GIF of a man sadly walking away.
People that saw the announcement noticed that it came nearly a day after Ochocinco posted a picture with NBA broadcaster Taylor Rooks — but neither Rosado or Ochocinco confirmed that as the reason for the split.
Ochocinco proposed to Rosado last January when he popped the question with a massive 7 ½ carat engagement ring. In a video of the proposal, Rosado can be seen crying as Johnson reveals the jewelry while someone in the background yells for him to “put that thing on her finger.”
After the proposal, Rosado explained her feelings to People. "I'm honestly shocked! I'm at a loss for words,” she said.”This was absolutely beautiful and to see my family and friends here to celebrate our love, that really did it for me,"
"I'm so emotional because when we first started dating, he used to always tell me, 'I'm going to make you my wife,'" she added. "Although in my heart I knew we were always meant to be, now that it's official, it's even more special than I could have ever dreamed."
Their engagement followed the birth of their daughter, Serenity, in 2022.
