Antonio Brown reportedly has a warrant out for his arrest in connection with a shooting that took place in Miami last month.

According to The Washington Post, Miami-Dade County authorities are seeking to arrest the former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver on a charge of attempted murder with a firearm.

A judge signed a warrant for Brown's arrest on Wednesday (June 11). The conditions for his release pending trial include a $10,000 bond and house arrest.

As of Thursday evening (June 12), the controversial NFL star could not be reached, and it's unclear if he has an attorney. A spokesman for the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office declined to comment on the matter.

The charge stems from a scuffle the football star was involved in when he was jumped outside a boxing event hosted by Adin Ross on May 16. Clips that circulated on social media at the time appeared to show Brown fighting a group of men.

Some of the clips, which show the incident from different angles, allegedly show the ex-Pittsburgh Steeler holding a gun while shots are heard ringing out. Brown was detained by police and released hours later.

According to the warrant, spectators in the parking lot told police that Brown was the shooter. Brown had no weapon on him when officers patted him down, and the warrant states that investigators found two spent shell casings and an empty gun holster.

Detectives obtained video footage, cited in the warrant, that reportedly shows Brown punching a man. The footage continues to show Brown allegedly grabbing a security officer's gun and heading for the man he'd punched. According to the same warrant, cellphone video recorded two gunshots as Brown neared the victim, who is seen ducking.

After his arrest, Brown appeared on Adin Ross' livestream. "You can't take him down! You can't take down AB!" Ross shouts as AB daps up a number of people in the room. "You look like a bad ass, though," Ross added.

Hours after reports circulated that Brown was taken away in handcuffs, he took to X, formerly Twitter, to explain what happened, while denying that he was actually arrested.

"I was jumped by multiple individuals who tried to steal my jewelry and cause physical harm to me," he wrote. "Contrary to some video circulating, Police temporarily detained me until they received my side of the story and then released me. I WENT HOME THAT NIGHT AND WAS NOT ARRESTED."

The retired athlete added that he planned on keeping his followers aware "step-by-step" on his process. "I will be talking to my legal council and attorneys on pressing charges on the individuals that jumped me," he added.

Days later, a man claimed that he was involved in the scuffle and that the former NFL star shot at him during the incident.

According to TMZ, Zül-Qarnaįn Nantambu claimed that Brown tried to swing on him when they ran into each other. Nantambu explained that he has a history with Brown, who he alleged tried to defraud him in the past even though he helped him out when he almost got detained in Dubai.

"He went, got a gun, shot wildfire," he claimed. "We fight. He shot at me twice. They got children out there selling candy, bro. He could've hit one of them kids. He runs into me after shooting me. We tussling for the gun, fighting for the gun, all over the ground... Police out there, bro!"

Nantambu called out the former NFL player and occasional rapper for having "the audacity" to say he plans to press charges. "AB, your days are numbered," he concluded.
