A Stack of Bricks Saved These Spectators from a Massive Rally Crash

Rally spectators in Poland nearly lost their lives when a rally car crashed in front of them.

We don’t need to tell you how dangerous rallying can be for both drivers and spectators. Trees, walls, ditches, or giant mounds of bricks – take your pick, because rally cars are likely to spear each and every one of those items.

This Citroën C2 rally car, racing at the Kaszuby Rally in Poland, entered a turn too quickly and crashed into the latter of those items, on which a bunch of rally fans were perched. The speeding car impacted hard, throwing some of the fans into the air, but luckily no serious injuries were reported.
