Adidas Originals Unveils ‘The Original’ Campaign With a Short Film Celebrating Timeless Style

Adidas Originals is hoping to inspire future generations with its new campaign, The Original.

Directed by Thibaut Grevet, the short that launches the campaign harkens back to some of the most iconic advertising campaigns in the company's history. Soundtracked by The Platters' timeless "Only You (And You Alone)," the clip opens in stark black-and-white before bursting into vivid color as others join a lone dancer, eventually revealing a full crowd.

The campaign focuses on three of Adidas' most recognizable silhouettes: the Superstar II, the Handball Spezial, and the Samba OG. The Adidas Firebird track jacket and pants are also featured in the short, which serves as both a celebration of the brand's legacy and a look toward the future.
