Bobby Hundreds Jokes His 'Culture Is Not a Costume' After Mark Zuckerberg Uses AI to Become a Streetwear Designer

Bobby Hundreds shared his comical take on Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg’s recent demonstration of Meta AI. In a clip, Zuckerberg showcased Meta AI's latest update, which allows users to generate images of themselves in various styles and scenarios.

"Hey everyone, so I'm pretty excited about this latest update to Meta AI," Zuckerberg said in the clip, included above. "It basically lets you generate images of yourself in any style and doing anything that you want. Let's check this out, 'cause I need a new profile picture."

Zuckerberg demonstrated the process by taking a few pictures of himself and entering prompts, such as "Imagine me as a gladiator," which resulted in an AI-generated image of him as a Roman gladiator. Other examples included him as a boy band member, sporting a "huge gold chain," and as "a streetwear designer in L.A." When the last image appeared, he chuckled and said, "That’s my future self."

In response, Bobby Hundreds, founder of streetwear brand The Hundreds, commented on the video, writing, "My culture is not your costume 🤣🤣🤣."

Zuckerberg's admission that the streetwear designer image could represent a future version of himself might seem like a bold suggestion, especially given his previous proclivity for plain t-shirts and jeans. However, the Meta chairman and CEO has recently developed a notable interest in streetwear.

As reported by The Financial Times, Zuckerberg and his company recently expressed interest in investing in 5 percent of French-Italian conglomerate EssilorLuxottica, which acquired streetwear giants Supreme for $1.5 billion earlier this month. nss magazine even declared him to be in his "hypebeast era," so maybe Zuckerberg's prediction for the future isn't far from reality.
