Frank Ocean's Mom Hints the 'Boys Don't Cry' Zine Could Get a Wider Release

Frank Ocean released his highly anticipated and long-awaited follow-up to Channel Orange Saturday night. In conjunction with the release of Blonde, Ocean also set-up pop-up shops in major U.S. cities and gave away a magazine, titled 'Boys Don't Cry' featuring contribution from Tyler, the Creator, Kanye West, and Lil B.

Given the fact that the magazine is really more of a coffee table book at 366 pages, its limited-edition nature, and the high-profile contributions, it's no surprise the price of the magazine skyrocketed on reselling sites. Listings reached $1,000 and people have paid up to $500 for one. However, Ocean's mother, Katonya Breaux, wrote on Twitter that fans should hold off on purchasing the mags. "Don't pay those ridiculous prices for the mags on eBay," she wrote. "Just hang tight a sec..."

It sounds as if the zine is going to be made available again in some form. Could this mean there are more pop-up shops on the way or just that they will get a more traditional release? Think we'll just have to "hang tight a sec" to really find out, but this is great news no matter what.

Katonya Breaux did not immediately respond to Complex's request for comment.
