Guerilla Girls, the arts group behind the equal rights billboards targeting the politician Michelle Bachmann, opens a new exhibition on January 23 at the University of Illinois’ Krannert Art Museum. The anonymous feminist collective has been creating public artworks for nearly thirty years now, including some of our favorite works visible in the streets. Their new exhibition, titled “Not Ready to Make Nice: Guerrilla Girls in the Artworld and Beyond” will include a multimedia retrospective of their activist works, as well as love letters and hate mail.
