Moncler Genius x FRGMT Collection Reimagines Everyday Wear
FRGMT founder Hiroshi Fujiwara is the visionary behind the new collaboration.
Everyday menswear goes noir in the new Moncler Genius x FRGMT collaboration.
The collection's pieces come from the mind of Fragment Design founder Hiroshi Fujiwara, who gives a sleeker take on everyday menswear and reimagines practicality. Jackets, ranging from nylon parkas to lightweight varsity jackets, are in black and are structured with skillful design, embroidered details reading both brands' names, and Y2K-inspired graphics.
Also on the outerwear are numerical codes and embossed logos, the latter being cartoon bunnies and kittens made by the Korean illustration company Nayeon & Rang.
For a quick philosophy lesson, check for embodied quotes alongside the Nayeon & Rang illustrations, like Nietzsche’s 'Without music, life would be a mistake' and Aristotle’s ‘There is no great genius without some touch of madness.'
