Maybe Busta Rhymes should leave fashion alone for a while.

The rapper was the butt of social media jokes after being seen in what should've made the "Worst Outfit Ever" trend earlier this year. In an image that surfaced on X this week, Busta wore a lobster-reminiscent red, shiny futuristic outfit with white sunglasses, possibly a costume from his current tour with Missy Elliott and Ciara.

While Busta probably thought he looked ahead of his time, X wouldn't stop clowning his fit, with one user even joking about making a Google command to delete his albums.

Another compared the look to a "purse from Drake's collection," referencing the artist's fixation on Birkin bags. A reposter followed with a quip about Busta being dressed like "a Jamaican computer virus," a wisecrack considering the rapper's Jamaican heritage.

A third person hilariously superimposed a giant Swedish Fish candy on top of Busta's attire, driving home the underwater animal theme.

Fashion-wise, it's been an interesting summer for Busta, who visited a beach in Curaçao last month while wearing jeans.

Busta's strange style cues probably come as no surprise to longtime fans. Just see his looks in music videos for his 1990s singles "What’s It Gonna Be?!" and "Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Could See" – Busta has constantly pushed the boundaries of hip-hop fashion.
