British design firm Blue Forest has created the world’s first luxury treehouse, a structure aptly titled Living the Highlife. It’s comprised of two elevated units, one for adults and one for children, which are connected by rope bridges. The children’s dwelling was inspired by medieval architecture, with pointy towers and conical rooms. This unit houses a game room on its upper floor and provides access to an assault course and an adventure play area on the forest ground via an 80-yard zip line. The adult treehouse has lower ceilings and was constructed using oak and cedar. It contains a kitchen, a large dining room, a living area, and a bathroom.
