A Complete Timeline of Supreme x Nike Apparel Collaborations

A complete timeline of Supreme x Nike apparel collaborations featuring Nike SB Wool Baseball Jackets, Jordan Brand capsules, NBA jerseys, and more.

Supreme x Nike Apparel Collaborations
Complex Original

Across its 31-year history, Supreme’s collaborations have been some of its most memorable releases. Its long list of collaborative partners includes established names like The North Face, Timberland, Comme des Garçons, and even Louis Vuitton. But one of its most fruitful and long-lasting relationships has been with sportswear giant, Nike.

Since joining forces to create two pairs of grail-level SB Dunk Lows in 2002, the two brands have produced countless projects together. While a lot of collectors often focus their attention on the sneakers, Supreme and Nike have also come together to produce great apparel as well. Sometimes the releases coincide with a sneaker release to offer matching items like a jacket or cap. Other times, Supreme has taken some of Nike’s signature sportswear items and brought them into the streetwear world with unique material choices like leather to construct a baseball jersey or denim to create a varsity jacket. They’ve even featured athletes in their campaigns like JR Smith in 2018 or Michael Jordan in 2015, which is still absolutely nuts when you think about it.

With the two brands coming together for their latest apparel drop in March 2025, we decided to take an extensive look back at their collaborative history.

Nike SB Wool Baseball Jacket

Season: Fall/Winter 2007

Standout Item: SB Wool Baseball Jacket

Supreme may have already been releasing some its most celebrated sneaker collabs like 2002’s SB Dunk Lows or 2006’s SB Blazers in the early aughts, but the two brands didn’t actually come together for an official apparel collaboration until 2007. Three wool baseball jackets—blue, black, and red—were released to match up with the colorways of the SB Air Trainer 2. Each featured a large Nike logo stitched on the left chest, “SB” embroidered on the right sleeve, and Nike logo accompanied by “NYC Supreme” across the back, which were filled in to match the secondary colors on each sneaker. Being almost 15 years old, these jackets are harder to come by these days. And if you do find one, expect to pay a pretty hefty price for it. —Mike DeStefano

Nike SB Twill Pullover Jacket

Season: Spring/Summer 2009

Standout Item: SB Twill Pullover Jacket

The SB Air Trainer 2 collab in 2007 set a new precedent when it came to Supreme x Nike projects. For its next sneaker project, four suede pairs of the SB Bruin, Supreme once again would release matching jackets to coincide with each colorway. This time, black, red, and green twill pullover jackets dropped. Each featured a half-zip, large front pouch, Nike logo stitched on the left chest, and Nike SB branding stamped on the top of the hood. To match the heel of the SB Bruins, the back of each jacket displayed Supreme’s signature phrase, “World Famous.” —Mike DeStefano

Nike Air Foamposite One Capsule

Season: Spring/Summer 2014

Standout Item: Basketball Shorts

In 2014, Supreme released a collection of basketball jerseys and shorts that featured the Versace-esque gold print also seen covering an Air Foamposite One. Supreme doing a Foam was pretty surprising at the time with many people initially thinking that it wasn’t even a real thing when rumors first began to swirl of its release. Lineups at the Supreme store are commonplace to this day, but this drop is infamous for being shut down by the NYPD. The commotion was so crazy that it even discontinued Supreme x Nike sneakers from releasing in-store for a period of time. The apparel isn’t nearly as memorable, but you still might catch someone rocking a pair of the black or red shorts around the city in the summertime. If you’re lucky (or unlucky, depending on how you look at it), you may even get to see someone trying to pull off the head-to-toe fit. —Mike DeStefano

Jordan Brand

Season: Fall/Winter 2015

Standout Item: T-shirt

Supreme’s monumental collaboration with Jordan Brand wasn’t just limited to colorways of the Air Jordan 5. There were also hoodies, T-shirts, sweatpants, coach jackets, varsity jackets, and snapbacks available, each sporting a special logo that replaced the usual “Air Jordan” lettering with “Supreme” alongside a red Jumpman. White and black colorways were available in every item aside from the hooded varsity jacket, which was limited to one black option with red trim. While seeing Supreme get to release an official capsule with a sportswear brand as iconic as Jordan was a feat in itself, arguably the most impressive part of the whole thing was Michael Jordan himself appearing in an official lookbook photo donning the Supreme x Jordan T-shirt. —Mike DeStefano

Nike Air Max 98 Capsule

Season: Spring/Summer 2016

Standout Item: Snakeskin Dri-Fit Running Hat

Another Nike x Supreme collaboration that was memorable, but only included one piece of apparel, was the brand’s Air Max 98 capsule from Spring/Summer 2016. A Dri-Fit running hat in five different colorways was released with the collection. The hat featured reflective details like Supreme branding on the hat’s strap and an Air Max logo on the front of the cap. The best colorway is easily the snakeskin one. We’ll never forget the snakeskin hat era in New York City. Thankfully, Supreme kept it alive. —Lei Takanashi

Nike Air Humara Capsule

Season: Fall/Winter 2017

Standout Item: Trail Running Jacket

To complement the release of Supreme’s take on the Air Humara (a Nike trail running shoe originally released in 1998), Supreme also released an outdoorsy capsule of trail running apparel. A trail running jacket, pant, and cap were offered in colorways that matched the sneakers. All the apparel included reflective 3M logos. The standout piece from the collection was easily the jacket, which included a large mesh pocket on the back with a giant reflective Supreme logo. —Lei Takanashi

NBA

Season: Spring/Summer 2018

Standout Item: Warm-Up Jacket

Supreme may have built its reputation in the world of skateboarding, but the brand has since crossed over into plenty of other sports. If its own Air Foamposite One or collab with Jordan Brand wasn’t obvious enough, Supreme dropped an entire official collab with Nike and the NBA during its Spring/Summer 2018 season. Obviously taking inspiration from Jeff Hamilton’s leather jackets popularized through the ‘90s and 2000s, tank tops, shorts, and warm-up jackets were covered in a collage of NBA team logos to match up with two colorways of the Air Force 1 Mid. Supreme even got fan-favorite JR Smith to model the pieces in the lookbook. Smith was a fitting choice. He had rocked the Supreme x NBA shooting sleeve in a game back in 2017. When it was banned by the league, he got a Supreme logo tatted on his leg. The league would end up telling him he had to cover that up during games, too. But his commitment took brand loyalty to a whole new level. —Mike DeStefano

Fall/Winter 2018

Season: Fall/Winter 2018

Standout Item: Cotton Twill Work Jacket

Supreme’s Fall/Winter 2018 gave us amazing Nike sneaker collaborations like the SB Gato and the Comme des Garçons SHIRT Air Force 1s with a split swoosh. But aside from shoes, the Nike x Supreme apparel collection that dropped that season was also quite memorable. Instead of dropping classic Nike sportswear pieces, like nylon windbreakers or athletic hoodies, Supreme dropped a solid range of workwear-inspired garments. These included pieces like a cotton twill work jacket and a pair of overalls. Other great pieces included a jacquard polo and a reversible nylon vest. One of the collection’s best items was a plaid flannel hoodie, which also matched a pair of shorts. The 14K gold diamond cut earring with a Nike logo was also an unexpected, but great, piece of jewelry that dropped with this collection. —Lei Takanshi

Nike Air Max Tailwind 4 Capsule

Season: Spring/Summer 2019

Standout Item: Dri-Fit Running Hat

Supreme has put its spin on plenty of timeless Nike silhouettes over the years, from the SB Dunk Low to the Air Force 1. But the streetwear brand has decided to use some of its Nike projects to highlight some lesser-discussed retro sneakers throughout its history, too. One such case is when they brought back the Air Max Tailwind 4 in two colorways in March 2019. White/red and black/blue options were each available, adding some flair to the original design with shimmering boucle paneling. Two Dri-Fit running caps were released too that were designed to perfectly match each sneaker. Each featured reflective piping, boucle side panels, and embroidered Swooshes displayed on the front panel to help complete the fit if you so chose to. —Mike DeStefano

Spring/Summer 2019

Season: Spring/Summer 2019

Standout Item: Nylon Hooded Sport Jacket

Supreme never misses when it releases a Nike collaboration that celebrates ‘90s Nike apparel or even bootlegs. Supreme x Nike’s Spring/Summer 2019 apparel collection included flash pieces like a nylon sport jacket with large Nike logos, and chill pieces like a striped hooded sweatshirt, or a jacquard sweater with a Nike swoosh. But damn, the nylon pieces within this collection look like they were freshly pulled out of a ‘90s hustler’s storage unit. Some might even recognize the navy blue and green striped sweatsuit from being rocked by Drake during his infamous “We Created This” speech outside of Scotiabank Arena after his hometown Toronto Raptors secured a big win in the 2019 Eastern Conference Finals. —Lei Takanashi

Fall 2019

Season: Spring/Summer 2019

Standout Item: Leather Baseball Jersey

Supreme’s approach to its Fall 2019 capsule was a bit more unconventional than usual. Rather than releasing sportswear in its usual materials like lightweight nylon, fleece, or mesh, the brand decided to give these items a more lifestyle-focused spin. The result was baseball jerseys, hooded anoraks, warm-up pants, and duffel bags made out of cowhide leather. The bright red baseball jersey with green logo hits was the obvious standout from the rest of the lineup. Roddy Ricch even rocked the piece in his official video for “The Box.” While this release was centered around leather items, there were still some more traditional items available for anyone who didn’t think they could pull off the bold look like hoodies, sunglasses, bandanas, and even gold rings. —Mike DeStefano

Nike Air Max Plus Capsule

Season: Fall/Winter 2020

Standout Item: Running Hat

An underrated Supreme x Nike release was the Air Max Plus capsule that dropped during their Fall/Winter 2020 season. Originally released in 1998, the Air Max Plus was designed by Sean McDowell. The shoe’s trippy design was inspired by palm trees and sunsets in Florida. When Supreme released their own version of the shoe, they somehow got Nike to emulate the shoe’s wavy design with a logo that reads “Supreme.” To complement the shoe’s bugged-out look, Supreme and Nike also released a running cap that features the sneaker’s unique logo on the side panel and a rubber TN Air logo on the front. —Lei Takanashi

Fall/Winter 2020

Season: Fall/Winter 2020

Standout Item: Reversible Anorak

For its Fall/Winter 2020 apparel collection with Nike, Supreme seemed to take some inspiration from the UK. Reversible nylon anoraks and pants were offered up in three matching sets. Each was reversible, meaning anyone who copped was blessed with two fits for the price of one. Along with the reversible sets, Supreme also dropped vertically striped soccer jerseys, sweatshorts, and crewnecks in similar color schemes that each bore minimal co-branding. —Mike DeStefano

Spring 2021

Season: Spring/Summer 2021

Standout Item: Velour Tracksuit

For those who missed their chance to cop a pair of those coveted SB Dunk Lows, this great range of apparel from Nike came shortly after that release. Supreme x Nike’s Spring/Summer 2021 collection included a wide selection of apparel. There were reversible puffer jackets with a jacquard logo pattern and Nike logos with snakeskin—a subtle reference to earlier collaborations between the two brands. Other pieces offered included velour tracksuits, which gave off some old-school hip-hop vibes. Hooded sweatshirts and sweatpants with snakeskin logos were more subtle pieces offered within the collection, along with beanies, striped shirts, and neck warmers. However, one of the most intriguing pieces released was a snakeskin belt with Supreme and Nike co-branding. —Lei Takanashi

Spring/Summer 2022

Season: Spring/Summer 2022

Standout Item: Red Camo Arc Corduroy Hooded Jacket

Supreme put a premium spin on the classic tracksuit for the main items from its Spring/Summer 2022 collection with Nike. Rather than use fleece or nylon, Supreme created zip-up hooded jackets and cargo pants made out of corduroy. Branding was kept simple with Swooshes accompanying an arched Supreme logo in block lettering across the collection. A classic black colorway was offered, but the red camo and purple cord pieces were the real standouts of the bunch for this one. If corduroy isn’t quite your thing (it isn’t ours, to be honest), there was also some crewnecks and sweatpants with off-centered branding available in similar colorways. Admittedly, this one isn’t the most exciting, but it isn’t bad by any means either.

Nike Shox Ride 2 Capsule

Season: Spring/Summer 2022

Standout Item: Running Hat

Similar to its Air Tailwind 4 collab from 2019, Supreme decided to accompany the new takes on these retro runners with matching running caps. Olive green, red, black, and white mesh styles were released to go along with each Shox Ride 2. Details included mini Swooshes stitched on the brim, Shox and Supreme logos stacked on the front of the crown, and reflective Supreme branding on the strap. —Mike DeStefano

ACG

Season: Fall/Winter 2022

Standout Item: Snakeskin ACG Fleece Pullover

Supreme showed some love to Nike’s outdoor sub-label, ACG, for its Fall/Winter 2022 apparel collaboration. Usually tech-y ACG gear like pullovers and belted cargos were made of unconventional materials like denim. Nylon shorts and fleece hoodies were given a fun appearance through the use of scaly snake print. There were even some fluorescent jerseys for anyone looking to really use some Supreme gear on their next trail hike. We wish we got some Supreme Mowabbs or something to go along with this one, but we’ll take what we can get. There isn’t much ACG that we don’t like. Adding Supreme’s touch to the equation just makes it that much better. —Mike DeStefano

Spring/Summer 2024

Season: Spring/Summer 2024

Standout Item: Gradient Ripstop Pullover

Most Supreme collections have that piece that stands out from the bunch. When it comes to this Spring/Summer 2024 collab, it would have to be the gradient ripstop set (more specifically, the pullover). As good as it is, it definitely isn’t the only piece you should want to add to your wardrobe. You can get a ton of wear out of those mesh button-ups once the temperatures really start to climb in the spring and summertime. Who doesn’t love a good hoodie with some minimal branding that they can toss on everyday? We could have probably gone without a denim puffer vest. The denim shorts are meh too despite feeling like some cool vintage bootleg item. But we know plenty of people probably can’t wait to rock some Supreme x Nike jorts. Velvet crusher hats? Sure. This collection does feel a bit all over the place. It has its duds. However, the highlights are some of our favorite offerings from the Supreme x Nike partnership in quite some time, which makes this one a net positive. —Mike DeStefano

Nike Clogposite Capsule

Season: Fall/Winter 2024
Standout Item: Nike Crew Sock

Supreme dropped three pairs of crew socks to go along with its trio of Clogposites in September 2024. Each was covered in the matching, racing-themed patterns that donned the slip-on footwear. Socks certainly aren’t the most exciting accessory, but these briefly took us back to the glory days of Nike Elite Socks in the 2010s. Not bad. –Mike DeStefano

Spring/Summer 2025

Season: Spring/Summer 2025
Standout Item: Leather Varsity Jacket

This partnership truly shines when Supreme is able to take Nike into territory it normally doesn't venture into on its own. Examples in this capsule include cut and sew pieces like snakeskin leather jackets, striped rubby sweaters, and sweater vests that feel like vintage bootleg gems from the '90s. As per usual, there’s some classic sportswear here like nylon tracksuits and cozy sweatsuits. There just isn’t enough done to those additions to make it feel any more special than the typical stuff we could go scoop up at a Nike outlet or Dick’s Sporting Goods. Nonetheless, Supreme and Nike’s latest apparel collab does more good than bad. It’s another solid offering from the longtime partnership. –Mike DeStefano
