Sam Schubert's "Learning To Love The State I Am In" series finds the photographer (who inserts herself into each of her shots) blending in with the urban environment.

First thought here might be, "planking?" But, further investigation proves Schubert's intent is not merely to provoke amusement. Schubert's desire is to highlight the organic forms that are inherent to even the most functional architecture in her local Baltimore. For that alone, the photographs are beautiful.
