JD Drops New Balance 1000 Collection Featuring Exclusive Cyber-Jade Colourway
The latest iteration of the Y2K-inspired silhouette lands with four new colourways.
After its much-heralded comeback in 2024, New Balance have continued to delight fans of its NB 1000 silhouette with a series of on-point collabs and talent hook-ups.
Next up in the story is global fashion and sports retail powerhouse JD dropping the latest iteration—a street-ready pack featuring four brand new colourways, including a cyber-jade combination (a JD exclusive).
Originally released in 1999 as a performance running shoe, the 1000 was born with a futuristic aesthetic while its standout features—oversized overlays, neon eyelets and a sculpted midsole—made it a perfect embodiment of the Y2K spirit and an instant classic.
Blending this original DNA with contemporary styling cues, the JD collection features inverted mesh and leather overlays to deliver a textured, techwear-inspired aesthetic, with the segmented outsoles featuring ABZORB cushioning for next-level comfort and the durable rubber outsole ensuring grip and traction on urban terrain.
To launch the pack, JD has teamed up with Complex UK ‘2025 Rapper To Watch’ Pozer and his Amsterdam-based collaborator, Lusho.
