A24, a film studio known for consistently displaying excellent taste through everything from its marketing to the award-winning films, is stepping up for COVID-19 relief in a way that should make fellow harbingers of taste quite stoked indeed.
As announced on Wednesday, A24 has launched an auctions site in which select props and costumes from its titles will be put up for potential ownership, with all proceeds going toward an assortment of organizations that are of particular importance during the novel coronavirus era.
The A24 Auctions site is billed as "an auction platform benefiting New York City's workers and families impacted by the COVID-19 crisis." Fans hoping to get in on the charity happenings will have a shot at bidding on pieces crucial to the aesthetic mastery of A24 instaclassics like Uncut Gems, Midsommar, Euphoria, The Lighthouse, and more.
Bidding opens Wednesday (April 22) for pieces from Mid90s, Eighth Grade, Euphoria, and Hereditary in support of NYC Health Health + Hospitals, which is notably the largest public health care system in the U.S. In the coming weeks, additional pieces—including a range of covetables from Uncut Gems and a handy finishing mallet from Midsommar—will be available on the auctions site.
