Drake Reveals the Exact Virgil Abloh x Patek Philippe Watch Mentioned in "Life Is Good"
Haven't done my taxes. I'm too turnt up.
Drake has specified the exact Patek mentioned as "going nuts" and "doing front flips" in the new Future collab "Life Is Good."
Mere hours after dropping off the new track and video, Drake took to Instagram to share a photo of the watch in question, joking that by doing so he was introducing his fans to a new "super underground" designer named "Veerjil Ablow."
Virgil Abloh also shouted out the watch in an IG post of his own:
The Patek Philippe x Virgil Abloh piece actually gets three total mentions in "Life Is Good," which boasts production from Ambezza, OZ, and D. Hill. The most quotable instance, arguably, is this one:
The new track, which seemingly marks the beginning of a second What a Time to Be Alive-level era of collaborative magic for the duo, is notably divided into two parts. Breaking up the two sonic halves is an interlude in which Future, in a move that possibly inspired the song's title, informs listeners he's wearing red bottoms and that "life is good."
And he's right, life is good. Especially when you are suddenly reminded of the existence of "Summer Games."
