Earlier this month, the 'New York Times' published a report about Musk's alleged drug use.

Elon Musk is clearly still bothered by recent reports of his drug use, which alleged he was frequently using ecstasy and ketamine.

The Tesla founder hopped on X to show the alleged results of a urine test, where he tested negative for multiple substances, including cocaine, meth, ketamine, weed, and ecstasy. “Lol,” he captioned the image.

The drug test doesn’t appear to have been verified.

At the top of the month, a New York Times report alleged that the former DOGE administrator was using ketamine, ecstasy, and psychedelic mushrooms during President Donald Trump's 2024 presidential run.

Musk responded to the claims on X, tweeting that the publication was lying.

"Also, to be clear, I am NOT taking drugs! The New York Times was lying their ass off," Musk wrote. "I tried *prescription* ketamine a few years ago and said so on X, so this not even news. It helps for getting out of dark mental holes, but haven't taken it since then."

The Times cited more than a dozen sources close to Musk who claimed he used ketamine more extensively than previously thought, as well as ecstasy and mushrooms. The publication shared that it conducted its investigation through interviews, private messages, legal records, and photographs.

The report emerged on June 1, after Musk stepped down from his advisory role in Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency program in late May. When asked if he knew about Musk's alleged drug use, Trump said, "No, I wasn't. I think Elon is a fantastic guy."

Of course, the president’s “fantastic guy” comments arrived after he and Musk had a nasty back-and-forth, which included Elon criticizing Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill and linking Trump with the late financier, Jeffrey Epstein.
