Wendy’s and MoonPie Are Your New Relationship Goals

Watching couples express their love for one another on social media is kind of the worst, especially if like me, you are convinced you will die alone. Okay, maybe not alone. There might be some cats.

Anyway, Twitter’s latest love-fest is actually kind of adorable. The quirky cuteness began at a recent Reddit AMA, where the team behind Wendy's social media was asked who their favorite social media account was, and they quite pointedly said it was MoonPie, as in the century-old chocolatey snack. Soon after, MoonPie tweeted at Wendy’s (yes, that Wendy’s), “I think you are very pretty.” Wendy tweeted back, “Thanks Moonpie! You’re such a snack!” and thus, Twitter’s most bizarre mushy back-and-forth began. To be fair, it's not like it's any more weird or annoying than anything 45 tweets.
