Top5 says he received a text message from the artist formerly known as Kanye West nearly a week after he was reportedly stabbed in London.

On his Instagram Story on Saturday (July 19), the Toronto rapper shared a screenshot of a text conversation, seemingly with Ye.

“No way you made it to Paris,” Ye wrote. “I want to know what you’re thinking in your brain right now.”

Top5 replied, "They know I'm coming Ye [mouth zipped emoji]."

"Like John Wick after they got his dog? Hahahaha you're a soldier!" Ye replied.

Top5 (born Hassan Ali) was talking to fans near the stage shortly after Drake’s performance at Wireless Festival in London on July 13 when a masked individual ran up and stabbed him.

The Sun reported a video showing what appeared to be the same attack, with several men surrounding a car, stomping the windshield, and stabbing the driver, believed to be Top5, in the leg.

"The victim, a man in his 20s, was approached by a group who damaged his car before stabbing him in the leg," a Metropolitan Police spokesperson told The Sun, adding that officials arrived near the festival grounds at approximately 12:15 a.m. on Monday (July 14). "He was taken to hospital and his injuries are not believed to be life-changing. Enquiries remain ongoing and no arrests have been made at this stage."
