Drake Jokes This German Mouthwash ‘Will Kill Anyone Under 30’ and ‘Almost Did Me In'
Dontodent Mundwasser Konzentrat is 64% ABV.
Drake has given fans a warning about his run-in with an unusually potent German mouthwash.
On Friday, the rapper posted a photo of himself holding a bottle of Dontodent Mundwasser Konzentrat, a concentrated mouth rinse sold in Germany. In the caption, he wrote: "This will kill anybody under 30 years of age Germany wtf this mouth wash almost did me in."
According to the manufacturer's website, the mouthwash is meant to be diluted with water before use: "Add 10 squirts to 1/4 glass of water every morning and evening and rinse your mouth for 30 seconds." The instructions also carry warnings such as: "Do not swallow! Do not use undiluted! For adults only."
The reason for the dilution is that the product contains 64% alcohol by volume, along with menthol and eucalyptol.
A few customers left reviews on the product, such as one who downplayed the intensity and wrote, "Attention! The product description is incorrect. 10 squirts in 1/4 glass of water is way too much. Always use 2 squirts in a toothbrush cup."
Another person said, "I think the product is good. I just think the suggested dosage is excessive. 10 squirts in 1/4 glass of water is simply too much (it would be about half a bottle). Maybe it should say 10 drops?"
Dontodent is a dental-care brand sold through the German drugstore chain dm-drogerie markt. While it's a common household item in Germany, the formula's high alcohol content and intense flavor could be surprising to first-time users, especially those expecting a milder minty wash.Drake didn't specify whether he followed the instructions, but his reaction suggests the concentrated formula was a shock.
The 6 God's post shows that he's making sure his mouth is crystal clean during his and PartyNextDoor's Some Special Shows 4 U European tour.
Following Germany, Drake is heading to Sweden, Denmark, Italy, and France before returning to Deutschland to close things out with eight shows across the country.
In addition to the tour, Drake is getting ready to release his next album, Iceman, which he's already begun promoting with his ICEMAN EPISODE YouTube series.
