Representatives for Justin Bieber clarified the relationship between him and Diddy. The music mogul is currently in court for his federal sex trafficking trial.

As first reported by TMZ, sources close to Bieber commented on the allegations of years of abuse and sexual misconduct that people were subjected to by Diddy, who was formerly friends with the singer. "Although Justin is not among Sean Combs’ victims, there are individuals who were genuinely harmed by him," the representative said. "Shifting focus away from this reality detracts from the justice these victims rightfully deserve."

Page Six and People later reported that they spoke with a rep for Bieber who denied that the singer was ever victimized by the Bad Boy Records founder.

The statement comes after fans speculated that Diddy abused Bieber because they made multiple public appearances when he was still a teenager, including on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in 2011, when the former said that Bieber "knows better than to be talking about things that he does with Big Brother Puff on national television."
In another widely circulated clip from 2009, Diddy implied he was spending "the next 48 hours" with the then 15-year-old singer, and they planned to "go buck-full crazy." The sources said these appearances were "performative," and he was friends with Diddy's sons Quincy and Justin Combs, per TMZ.

During his trial, Diddy’s ex-girlfriend Cassie testified against him and detailed their allegedly abusive relationship. Another witness gave a detailed testimony of his so-called "freak-off" sex parties, and said he participated in multiple sexual encounters with the former couple as Diddy watched.
