Brandy & Monica Release New Dunkin' Drink Ahead of Joint Tour
“We are not doing this again – can someone get us a Cereal ‘N Milk Latte please?”
Brandy & Monica are bringing fans a dose of nostalgia—both on stage and in their coffee cups.
Ahead of their highly anticipated reunion tour, the R&B icons have partnered with Dunkin’ to launch the Cereal ‘N Milk Latte.
The new drink blends espresso with cereal milk and a marshmallow flavor, designed to mimic the taste of finishing a bowl of cereal.
“It’s more like a creamy espresso latte blended with cereal and milk, which is something we all grew up eating anyway,” Monica told PEOPLE. “It has a familiar, nostalgic taste to it.”
Brandy explained that Dunkin’ first approached them with a concept inspired by their 1998 hit. “They reached out to us and had this exciting idea to play off of our song The Boy Is Mine and make it into The Latte Is Mine,” she said. “We just thought that was so cute — and we fell in love with the drink!”
The partnership comes as the duo prepare to kick off The Boy Is Mine tour, their first-ever co-headlining run. It marks 25 years since the Grammy-winning single cemented their place in music history.
Brandy acknowledged the timing finally felt right: “The song was such a monumental song and so many people loved it, but it just never seemed like it was the right time. But now coming together all of these years later, it just seems like this is the perfect time.”
The tour will also feature surprise guests, with Kelly Rowland, Muni Long, and American Idol winner Jamal Roberts already confirmed for select dates. Monica teased that fans should expect even more unannounced appearances, saying the goal is to bring back the kind of excitement that comes from not knowing what’s next.
Dunkin’s campaign, produced with Betches Studios, leans into the singers’ playful rivalry with a spot where Brandy and Monica argue over the latte before ultimately agreeing it’s worth sharing.
Fans can grab the Cereal ‘N Milk Latte in-store, on the Dunkin’ app, or online starting August 20.
