Drake Says He’s Tapped Out From Making 'Too Many Bangers' on New Album 'Iceman'
The 6 God has been teasing his upcoming album, 'Iceman,' for some time.
Drake is still teasing his next solo album.
The For All the Dogs rapper took to Instagram on Thursday to share a photo dump, alongside the caption, “Tired…too many bangers.”
Included in the photo series are memes, screenshots from fans' videos of Drizzy performing, him holding a bra (likely at one of his shows), and a selfie where he shows off his abs.
The 38-year-old is gearing up for the release of his forthcoming album, Iceman, which he’s teased for some time and might very well release this year. In July, he dropped two new singles, “What Did I Miss” and “Which One,” both of which will presumably appear on his upcoming project.
“What Did I Miss” seems to be a reference to Kendrick Lamar’s Pop Out event, with fans speculating that a line in the second verse, “I saw bro went to Pop Out with them, but been dick-riding gang since ‘Headlines,’” may be a nod to LeBron James, who attended Kenny’s show. LeBron also looked to side with K.Dot during his and Drake's feud.
Iceman will mark the 6 God’s first solo full-length since 2023's For All the Dogs, and, if released this year, will arrive just months after his and PARTYNEXTDOOR's chart-topping collab album, $ome $exy $ongs 4 U.
In March, a month after the collab album dropped, Drake addressed his “next chapter” in a note to fans.
"U know I grew up non confrontational and always treated this game as a sport where my pen won gold, but these days the podium has been hard for all of us to ignore," he wrote on Instagram. "I understand that this next chapter may leave you feeling uneasy, but I hope you see my honesty as clarity not charity that answers some questions especially about the unanswered texts you've been sending me."
ComplexCon returns to Las Vegas on October 25–26, 2025, with over 300 brands and live performances by Young Thug, YEAT & Friends, Peso Pluma, Central Cee, Ken Carson, and more. Get your tickets now.
