J. Cole and Wiz Khalifa have teamed up for the remix of Cole’s single, “Clouds.”

The surprise drop arrived on Thursday (March 6) via Cole’s new blog, The Algorithm. “Wiz skating. TGOD. And he been on a wave,” Cole wrote, referencing Wiz’s recent onslaught of mixtapes and freestyles.

Cole also shared a link to Wiz’s song, “Jill Scott,” featuring Premo Rice, Harry Fraud and Curren$y.

And Cole clearly knows his Wiz. “Clouds” samples the Kush & Orange Juice standout track, "Never Been."

Cole first dropped “Clouds” on Feb. 20, which touches on politics and the state of the world, including Donald Trump’s attempted assassination, artificial intelligence’s burgeoning popularity, and the wealth disparity.

“I’m that bass in your trunk, the bullet that missed Trump / The gun that jammed ’cause it seemed God had other plans,” he rapped.

He later added, “Don’t buy, subscribe so you can just stream your content / Like rent, you won’t own a thing / Before long, all the songs the whole world sings’ll be generated by latest of AI regimes / As all of our favorite artists erased by it scream / From the wayside, ‘Aye, whatever happened to human beings?’” he spit.

The first time the two rappers appeared on a song together was on the remix of Yo Gotti’s 2010 Strictly 4 Traps n Trunks 8 project cut, “Look in the Mirror.”
