Kendrick Lamar's Toronto Crowd Asks for Encore of Drake Diss “Not Like Us”: 'One More Time'
It seems the 'GNX' rapper didn't oblige the crowd.
It seems some of Drake’s haters live in his own city.
On Thursday (June 12), Kendrick Lamar’s Grand National Tour stopped in Toronto for a two-night run, marking the first time he’s played the 6 God’s hometown since the pair beefed last year.
The GNX rapper performed his now-infamous Drizzy diss, “Not Like Us” to the crowd—and perhaps surprisingly, the audience wanted more, calling for Dot to perform an encore of the hit song.
“One more time, one more time, one more time,” fans chanted.
According to Canada’s Global News, the crowd’s encore and standing ovation lasted two minutes, but Kenny unfortunately didn’t honor their request.
Drake was set to livestream with Kai Cenat on the same day as Lamar’s show, but they canceled last minute and rescheduled the event. The two were set to give away hundreds of thousands of dollars for their “Somebody Loves Me” music video challenge, where 20 winner would receive $15,000 each to create their own video.
"We need more time with the treatments for sombody who loves me," Cenat wrote on his Instagram Story. "So we are pushing the stream back a few more days. Apologies."
“Somebody Loves Me” appeared on Drake and PartyNextDoor’s joint album, $ome $exy $ongs 4 U.
