Playboi Carti's 'Set It Off' Collab With Offset Made It on Nav's Album 'OMW2 Rexdale'
Nav's song 'Unlimited' features both Carti and The Weeknd.
Nav’s new album, OMW2 Rexdale is here—and includes a Playboi Carti song we’ve heard before.
The pair’s collaboration, “Unlimited” was originally Offset’s song, “Rock Out” with Carti that was supposed to appear on the Migos rapper’s 2023 album, Set It Off. But Carti never cleared the sample.
Instead, the song was given to Nav and also features The Weeknd. Set teased the song at his listening party in fall 2023, excited for its release.
Offset later commented on Carti’s absence from his album.
"Shoutout to my boy man 'cause I don't get into it with n***as about music," Offset said on The Breakfast Club. "Sometimes people be going through their own...you know what I'm saying? Shout out to bro, though, man. He should've cleared that muthafucker smashed, though. I ain't gonna cap."
He continued, "But it be like that. I don't get mad at folks for acting like that cause sometimes people be going through their own little shit, or they might not want or I don't know. It's all love, though that's my little bro, no matter what."
On the song, Cash Carti also makes mention of his “opp” appearing on Good Morning America, though it’s unclear who he’s referencing. The full line reads: “I pushed that button, I had my opp on Good Morning America.”
