Summer Walker Announces Split From Rico Recklezz: ‘I’m Literally Honestly & Truly Over Men’

Summer Walker is officially single.

The Over It singer took to her Instagram Story early Friday morning to confirm rumors that she and Rico Recklezz have parted ways.

“Yes I’m single but don’t be weird now yall,” she wrote. “I can’t even think about fuckin w another man. I love Rico he really is a sweet man when he wants to be… that’s my Pumkin for life, things just didn’t align how we wanted cause we from two different worlds. Let’s move on now n not create false narratives.”

She penned the message over a photo from the studio, where she appeared to thank Playboi Carti for “pulling up to add a great finishing touch” on her album.

Summer addressed being newly single in a second message posted to her IG Story: “I’m literally honestly & truly over men like that’s it for me, I find more peace in being alone, but let’s normalize moving on without mess.”

She added, “No disrespect. No hard feelings. No bad mouthing each other. Everything copestetic [sic] on my end, it’s all lessons n love.”

Back in December, the 29-year-old confirmed she was dating the Chicago drill rapper. In March, she bragged about how much her man dotes on her.

"You know what? Ya'll can say whatever ya'll wanna say about my man, but let me tell you one thing," she wrote in an IG post. "When I ask this man to do something for me, he gon' do it the best, the biggest way he motherfucking can. He don't never go small."

Prior to Recklezz, Walker dated Lil Meech, Lvrd Pharaoh—with whom she shares twin boys—and London On Da Track, with whom she shares a daughter.
