Tyler, the Creator Reveals Who His Clipse Verse Is About... Sort Of
Clipse dropped its long-awaited album, 'Let God Sort Em Out,' on Friday.
Clipse unleashed its album, Let God Sort Em Out, on Friday, which included the Tyler, the Creator-featuring song, “P.O.V.”
Of course, everyone’s curious who Tyler’s verse is about when he raps, “Little feature, n***as threaten to sue me?” at the beginning of his verse.
The Chromakopia artist took to his X to address the speculation—sort of.
“LET GOD SORT EM OUT,” Tyler tweeted on Thursday, “OUT NOW.”
In a second tweet, he wrote, “And an old friend ive made music with threatened to sue me over a feature they gave me,” he added, “(so yall dont run with a narrative).”
Fans took to the comments, attempting to hypothesize who he would be talking about. Guesses included Drake, Playboi Carti, ASAP Rocky, and Hodgy Beats.
Let God Sort Em Out is Clipse’s first album in over 15 years, following 2009’s Til the Casket Drops. In addition to an appearance from Tyler, the project was produced by Pharrell and boasts features from John Legend, Kendrick Lamar, Lenny Kravitz, The-Dream, Nas, and Stove God Cooks, among others.
