Cyn Santana announced her second pregnancy this week, but despite online rumors, Brent Faiyaz doesn't seem to be the father.

On Tuesday, July 30, after Santana shared the good news on Instagram with two posts, speculation immediately arose about her child's father. While the singer and Love & Hip Hop alum shares a 6-year-old son, Lexington, with Joe Budden, the two haven't been together since 2019. The former couple dated for three years.

Because Faiyaz and Santana have been pictured together at least once before, some social media users believed they were expecting their first child together. However, Faiyaz immediately put an end to the rumors on Wednesday, July 31, writing "fake news" in his Instagram Stories. Others have theorized that the father is Nigerian-American chef, Kwame Onwuachi.

Santana hasn't revealed who the father of her child is, but regarding co-parenting with Budden, she told MadameNoire in 2020 that the process was "new language" for them.

"Right now we’re fine," she said at the time. "We co-parent well and our focus is just Lex and nothing else. When you eliminate things and you just focus solely on the child, as that’s really what it should be about when you co-parent, it makes it easier."
