Roscoe's House of Chicken 'N Waffles has ties to Harlem, which Cam'ron explained in a new podcast interview.

Last week, a clip was posted by the Dipset member detailing that his uncle, Herb Hudson, founded the California restaurant chain in 1975. Like the rapper and podcast, Hudson hails from Harlem.

"I know everybody in California be like, 'Yo, that's our shit, that's our shit,' he said. "Roscoe's Chicken 'N Waffles is absolutely a California thing. But if y'all didn't know, some Harlem n****s own it, my family, actually."

Cam also recounted how the first Roscoe's was established in Long Beach before developing other locations. "And shout out to my uncle right now. We're about to move to San Diego, new location in San Diego, and we're opening 20 locations in Mexico City."

Cam'ron concluded by giving a shoutout to his uncles Herman ('Herb') and Warren, both of whom he posted a picture with on Instagram in May 2023.

"Fun fact: would you believe me if I told you that the owner/founder of Roscoes chicken and Waffles was from Harlem? And that he’s my uncle?!… nah I wouldn’t believe me either. Oh well 🤷🏾‍♂️" Cam captioned the post.

Roscoe's celebrates its 50th anniversary this year and has more than seven locations in Los Angeles. A longtime fan of the chain is Snoop Dogg, who took the late Larry King for a visit in 2008.
