Drake dedicated a birthday message to his "real family," Bun B, for the rapper's 52nd.

On Wednesday, the five-time Grammy winner wrote an Instagram dedication to the UGK member, along with a throwback photo.

"My real family and a true mentor," began Drizzy, 38. "Always showed up for me and brought me into his world for a pat on the back or a reality check or some good ol game. ...There's only one Bun B MORE LIFE."

Bun B has been in Drake's corner for 15 years since first collaborating with The Boy on "It's Been a Pleasure." The artists would also work together on tracks like "Uptown" and "Put It Down."

Last year, Drake purchased an estate in Washington County, Texas, just one hour outside Houston, and Bun gave him a neighborly welcome at his 2024 All-American Takeover concert.

"I can't say enough about The Boy. He's coming here on his own dime, spending extra money to try to increase the production value for his section of the show," Bun B told Complex about the show at the time. "All just to, you know, let people know that he's happy to be home."

Last August, Bun B also responded to Sauce Walka's claims that the "Nokia" artist doesn't work with Houston rappers.
