Sauce Walka claims that Travis Scott doesn't like any of the older rap artists in Houston because of how they treated him when he first started as a rapper.

During a conversation on One on One with Mike D, Walka discussed the trend of older Houston artists not helping out younger artists, which he said should change. According to Walka, Scott was one of those artists that the Houston OGs didn't treat well and because of that, he doesn't like any of them.

"Travis Scott don't got songs with no OGs in Houston. He don't like none of the OGs in Houston cause he don't like the way they treated him when he was 'Lil Travis,'" said Walka. "He's not going to vocalize it, he's not going to say it, he's not going to do what I'm doing. He going to let y'all perform, do a little this and that to be nice. But my n***a, you don't think that don't makes sense why Travis Scott ain't got songs with the great legends of Houston?"

La Flame does have a good relationship with one of the most well-known Houston OGs, Bun B. They were recently seen hanging out at a party celebrating fellow Houston native Beyoncé's new SirDavis whisky brand. In 2022, Bun recognized Scott's talent and said he has "something special" that allows him to connect with people.

"Coming from where he comes from, to make it to where he's made it at, usually doesn't happen," he explains. "It shows that there's something special about him and the way that he expresses himself musically, and the way that he's able to connect with people, particularly at his shows."
