Nick Jonas protectively ran offstage after a laser pointer was aimed at him during a recent Jonas Brothers concert in Prague.

The scary incident was captured in a TikTok filmed at the O2 Arena on Tuesday night (October 15), showing the 32-year-old darting from the stage mid-concert while making a "time out" sign with his hands. A security guard escorted him out while fans filmed from the sidelines.

In a statement to Variety, an O2 Arena spokesperson confirmed that the concert was briefly paused. "We can confirm that the Jonas Brothers’ performance had to be interrupted for several minutes due to the use of a prohibited laser pointer by the person," the spokesperson stated. "The organizing service responded to this fact. After a few minutes, the band continued their performance."

Another TikTok from user Jolanda Hofmann appeared to show the moment when Jonas noticed the laser, which was pointed at his forehead and one of his hands.

It's understandable that Jonas rushed for safety, as some artists have had random items pelted at them during concerts in recent years.

In August, Taylor Swift canceled three concerts in Vienna, Austria, after two men were arrested for planning a terrorist attack. Just weeks before, several children were fatally stabbed, while nine other children and two adults were injured, during a Swift-dedicated dance class in the northwest England town of Southport.
