Diddy's lawyer Marc Agnifilo has asked the judge to release the mogul from jail on a $1 million bond following the verdict in his federal sex trafficking and racketeering case, according to Inner City Press.

On Wednesday, Diddy was found guilty of transportation to engage in prostitution, but not guilty of sex trafficking and racketeering. As a result, Agnifilo asked Judge Arun Subramanian to release Diddy on a $1 million bond and allow him to travel to Florida, New York, and Los Angeles while he awaits sentencing.

Agnifilo also told Judge Subramanian that Diddy would live at Two Star Island, the same home where the feds raided in Miami, Florida. The prosecution opposed his release and raised concerns about Diddy's conduct with drug use and violence.

Diddy has been sitting behind bars since his arrest last September in New York, but will now have a chance to walk out of court on Wednesday. The defense team pushed for a mistrial several times, and the verdict came down to the wire on the racketeering charge as jurors were reportedly deadlocked.

The prosecution rested its case on Tuesday while the defense and Diddy opted to give testimony. Even though he didn't testify, Diddy told Judge Subramanian, "I want to tell you thank you. You're doing an excellent job."

Diddy faces up to 20 years in prison.
