Snoop Dogg, Meek Mill, and Gillie tha Kid have shared some moving words regarding the death of Philadelphia rapper LGP QUA.

After he was shot and killed on Sunday, LGP QUA was remembered by his older rap peers, Snoop, Meek, and Gillie. According to Fox29, law enforcement claimed three masked men tried to rob him of his chains and shot him in the chest as a result. QUA was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries.

The West Coast native got things started with a tribute post on Instagram showing himself and the slain rapper posing for a picture. Meek followed that up with an Instagram Story post that called out people in his hometown for allowing a positive figure in the community to lose their life over senseless violence on Mother's Day. Meek even advised that he and the community should work together to get guns off the Philly streets.

"Killing ambitious young bulls like this on Mother's Day is a Philly type of thing smfh...shit will make you different," wrote Meek. "Prayers to you family & let's collect some of them guns shit said out there."

Gillie doubled down on Meek's comments in his own video by calling out Philly residents to "do better," especially when his own son, YG Cheese, was gunned down in a triple shooting back in 2023.

"It's just crazy out here in Philly that, it's coming out that some youngings tried to rob him for his chains and end up killing him, and it's like to the youngings that did it, you can't even sell the chains," said Gillie. "Y'all done killed a man for nothing and just know he was a man that talked peace on the streets."

He added, "Philly we got to do better, we gotta be smarter man. Y'all just took your lives and y'all took this kid's life for nothing. Can't even get rid of the chains. Who the fuck gonna buy the chains? They the hottest necklaces in the fucking city. Gotta do better man."

Fox 29 reported that no arrests have been made, but there is a $20,000 reward for any information leading to an arrest.
