50 Cent Echoes Michael Rainey Jr.'s Thoughts on Lil Meech: 'This Sh*t Funny'
50 Cent just can't help himself.
There are but a few winning formulas when it comes to surviving the never-ending headlines race, and “50 Cent plus Instagram equals guaranteed success”is undoubtedly one of them. For the latest example of this proven phenomenon, Michael Rainey Jr. and Lil Meech—both actors from 50’s STARZ television universe—have, perhaps expectedly, been given cameos in the G-Unit Films and Television founder’s relentless social media strategy.
Monday, 50 kicked off the week by sharing two clips to his IG, complete with a caption confirming just how “funny” he thought his current commentary topic was. In one clip, Rainey, known for his performance as Tariq on Power and Power Book II: Ghost, is seemingly seen addressing whether he feels “bad” for Meech.
“I don’t feel bad for no grown man on this planet,” Rainey said in the video. “I’m a grown man. Why the fuck I gotta feel bad for another grown man? You a grown man too, n***a. What you asking for my sympathy for? You’ll be aiight. Ho ass n***a.”
In another clip shared by 50, Lil Meech, who played his father Big Meech in BMF, is seen being questioned by authorities during a gun-related airport incident.
“You’ll B alright, Ho3 ass,” 50 said when sharing the clips, notably echoing Rainey’s remarks. “LOL. … Nah This shit Funny.”
The Meech footage, notably, stems from an incident that took place at a Florida airport. While Meech was indeed initially reported to have been arrested, he was ultimately cleared of charges, with TMZ reporting at the time that the would-be case was a result of his bodyguard’s luggage being mistaken for his own.
50 and Meech, as frequent readers are well aware, haven’t exactly been on good terms in recent months. In fact, both Lil Meech and Big Meech have been frequent subjects of 50’s Instagrammery as of late. They’re not alone in this distinction, however, as 50 has also carved out time to offer up some of his signature commentary on recent developments regarding Tracy Morgan, A Boogie Wit da Hoodie, Floyd Mayweather, and numerous others.
