50 Cent couldn't help himself after A Boogie reportedly escaped a serious car accident with no injuries.
A Boogie Wit da Hoodie was reportedly involved in a serious car accident over the weekend, though he thankfully managed to escape without injury.
As first reported by TMZ, which also included footage of the aftermath of the reported incident, the crash occurred in the New York area on Sunday. While details remain scarce, the report adds that Boogie wasn’t taken to a hospital following the accident, nor was he injured.
Footage showed extensive damage to the vehicle, with debris seen strewn on the highway. As of this writing, it hasn’t been confirmed whether another vehicle was involved in the accident.
Complex has reached out to reps for A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and the NYPD for comment. This story may be updated.
50 Cent, rarely one to refrain from offering his take on all manner of news developments, was quick to provide his signature brand of commentary on Instagram.
First, 50 joked about the estimated price tag on the car by imagining what some New Yorkers might be saying about the incident.
“They be like, yo, why A Boogie tried to pull up on us all crazy in the Ferrari and shit? How much them shits cost, 500K after tax? I hope they can’t fix it LOL.”
While 50 added in a quick “He good tho,” some followers were quick to jump into the comments and claim that 50 and A Boogie were engaged in some sort of a feud. 50 shut this down, however, saying he has “no beef” with the Better Off Alone artist.
“Get yo dumb ass out my comments!” he advised those engaging in such speculation.
50 Cent also shared a post on his account showing him FaceTiming A Boogie, assuring fans that he’s in good spirits after the accident. "Yeah @aboogievsartist smiling but I know he mad as a mother fvcker. That car was nice LOL, these young 🥷🏾’s crazy," he wrote.
A Boogie last gave fans a new full-length with 2024’s aforementioned Better Off Alone, featuring guest appearances by Young Thug and Future, among others. He has a number of tour dates set for the coming weeks, including a show at the John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville, Virginia on April 11.
