Latto Pours the World a Glass of 'Sugar Honey Iced Tea' on New Album f/ Megan Thee Stallion and More
Latto's third studio album also sees her enlisting Teezo Touchdown, Ciara, and more.
It's tea time.
More specifically, it's high time to down a refreshing glass of Sugar Honey Iced Tea, Latto's just-released new album. The title, of course, can be interpreted as a quite playful example of an acrostic, while the album itself is a star-stacked affair that opens with the Deep South-celebrating "Georgia Peach."
The featureless opener is followed in the tracklist by the album’s most recent single, "Big Mama," not to mention several more solo cuts before Latto calls on her prior "Peaches & Eggplants" remix collaborator Young Nudy for "Shrimp & Grits." Hunxho, Coco Jones, Megan Thee Stallion, Ciara, Mariah the Scientist, Cardi B, Flo Milli, and Teezo Touchdown also show up for tea of their own.
Tap into Sugar Honey Iced Tea via the streamer of your choice here, but be sure to consult Latto's timely advice on treating the album's carefully made sequencing choices with respect.
"When the album drops, please listen in order and don’t skip 'Big Mama' just cuz it’s already out," Latto told fans earlier this week. "I put a lot of effort into the sequence."
The advice, which is decidedly evergreen when it comes to properly enjoying an album for the first time, is not unlike the request Eminem made ahead of his own Death of Slim Shady album in July.
Just before Tea hit, Latto appeared on one of three new Drake songs included in the 6 God's surprise-dropped batch of archival material. Dive into the "100 gigs for your headtop" in question here.
