Drake celebrated his son Adonis’ birthday with a post showing how good the new seven-year-old is getting at basketball.

In an adorable post showing the two on the basketball court together, Adonis can be seen hustling and bustling for rebounds, plus checking up against his dad and hitting layups.

Drake wrote with the video, “BIG ADI DAY HAPPY BIRTHDAY KID 7 YEARS OLD PROB SOME OF MY LAST VIDEOS GETTING ANY BUCKETS.”

Last year’s “Big Adi Day” came with a bigger moment from Adonis when he released his debut song, “My Man Freestyle” — which, itself, was an expanded version of his show-stealing verse on Drake’s song “Daylight.”

On the song, Adonis proves that he carries the lyrical prowess of his father, rapping, very smoothly, “I don't care what you do, I will always watchin' for you.” That was at six years old — imagine at 16, if he keeps it up.

At that time last year, Adonis’ mom, Sophie Brussaux, hopped on Instagram to wish her son a happy birthday."Happy birthday to my favourite human that I helped co-create six years ago... God bless you, my son.” she wrote in French.

Alongside the caption, Brussaux shared a picture of Adonis as an infant playing with paint.

Earlier this year, Drake celebrated Adonis on Father’s Day — as well as his own father. In a set of photos showing him, Adonis, and Dennis Graham, he wrote, “Three generations. Happy Father’s Day to the ones guiding their daughters and sons.”
