A new snippet from a song that may appear on Ye’s upcoming album Bully has been revealed.

In-studio footage of Ye previewing the song for an audience has surfaced online. In the 29-second clip, Ye plays a sample-heavy song and bobs his head back and forth. As the song finally gets started though towards the end, Ye realizes that someone is recording so he immediately motions for them to stop.

This brief clip comes just days after Ye promoted Bully through a picture of a horse in Kai Cenat’s streaming room that was wearing a shirt that featured the album’s title. A few days before the New Year, a picture of Ye surfaced in the studio that featured him standing by a piano while wearing black shades — seemingly another image of him in the studio working on his new album.

Ye announced Bully last September. At listening experiences for his Vultures 2 collaborative album with Ty Dolla Sign, Ye played two potential Bully cuts “Preacher Man” and “Beauty and the Beast.” Soon after, Ye shared the official cover for the project on social media. In the wake of this latest move though, there’s not too much known about what the album will actually sound like because Ye hasn’t provided too many concrete details about it yet.

Hip-hop journalist Touré claimed on his Substack that Ye is producing the entire album alone, writing that the rapper is, “Producing everything 100 percent himself. This will be 100 percent Kanye West, which it hasn't been in many, many years."

Hopefully Ye has time to finish Bully soon because a recent post from him suggests that he’s been hooked on playing the survival video game, The Last of Us Part II. The rapper posted a screenshot of himself playing the game and then he gave it the highest praise he could.

Last of Us 2 on Survivor + mode got me spending all day on one board,” he wrote. “By faaaaaaarrrr the best game ever made so far. This is not a sponsored post.”
