Ye has reportedly announced a new forthcoming album, Bully.

The rapper broke the news to a massive crowd of people at a show in China. He also performed a new song, presumably that’ll appear on the LP called “Beauty and the Beast.” Check out the performance below.

Before you go jumping for joy, Ye has, historically, had a habit of announcing projects that would never come out. Back in 2016, he announced an album called TurboGrafx 16. In 2018, he teased the album Yandhi after releasing ye. These are only two of many — so it’s wise to just wait and see what happens.

Ye did caption his last IG post with "Bully."

Ye’s new shows in China are the first that he’s performed there in the country in 16 years. Earlier this month, he brought Ty Dolla Sign along for a Vultures show at the Haikou Wuyuanhe Stadium — selling out of all 42,000 tickets, according to China Daily.

According to The Straits Times, the first show raked in 51 million yuan (S$9.3 million) in ticket sales for Ye and 370 million yuan in tourism revenue for Haikou, which is why he announced a second show on Sept. 28 in the same venue.

Ye’s gotten into the habit of making spontaneous announcements at his recent shows. During one of his Vultures concerts in South Korea last month, the legendary rapper dedicated a performance of his Graduation track “I Wonder” to Drake and Ian Connor.

While Drake never responded to Ye’s shoutout, probably due to the fact that Ye dissed him on his remix of Future, Metro Boomin and Kendrick Lamar’s “Like That,” Ian Connor posted on X, simply, “And I Wonder.”

Ye dropped the second volume of Vultures with Ty Dolla Sign in August, less than a week after the first volume of the oft-delayed album. Vultures 1 spent back-to-back weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

There’s supposed to be a third volume of Ye and Ty Dolla $ign’s ongoing series, but it’s yet to drop — if it drops.
