Nick Cannon doesn’t see himself getting back together with his ex-wife, Mariah Carey.

The 43-year-old actor and comedian appeared at the Fox Fall Press Day on Thursday in Los Angeles, where he addressed some of the comments he had previously made about reconciling with Carey, 55.

“Yeah, she don’t want me,” Cannon told People. “She’s moved on from my crazy antics.”

When speaking to E! News in August, Canon said he would “absolutely” get back together with the “Always Be My Baby” singer but conceded that she likely wouldn’t take him back after he had “a whole baseball team,” referring to the 10 other children he fathered with several other women since their split.

According to People, Mariah first met Nick when he starred in her music video for “Bye Bye” in early 2008. After a few months of dating, the couple secretly tied the knot in May of that same year and welcomed twins, Moroccan and Monroe, in April 2011.

The couple announced their divorce in 2014 after six years of marriage.

While Cannon has spoken about rekindling his relationship with the 5-time Grammy Award winner on multiple occasions overt the years, Carey offered a brief response to him in a now infamous video from 2019.

“Remarrying? He’s making this up, this is him being silly,” Carey told a TMZ cameraperson before being asked if she plans to stay single for the rest of her life. “What is he, my last hope?”

The singer recently experienced the loss of her mother Patricia and sister Alison, who tragically died on the same day.

"My heart is broken that I’ve lost my mother this past weekend. Sadly, in a tragic turn of events, my sister lost her life on the same day," the singer told People in a statement last month.

No details about how the two passed away were made available.
