YouTuber Corey Pritchett Jr. Denies Kidnapping Allegations
The former family vlogger-turned-rapper was accused of abducting two women and threatening them.
YouTuber Corey Pritchett Jr. is responding to accusations of kidnapping women in Texas before allegedly fleeing overseas.
On Dec. 26, the 26-year-old rapper and content creator was charged with one count of aggravated kidnapping, according to court documents reviewed by the Huffington Post.
Pritchett was accused of taking two women on a high-speed car ride and threatening their lives.
The alleged incident took place on Nov. 23 in the Houston area. The women told police that they planned to ride all-terrain vehicles and go bowling with Pritchett but later became alarmed by his behavior. He agreed to leave the bowling alley when the women asked him to leave.
Per the complaint, one of the women sent a message to Pritchett letting him know they left some items in his car. Both women met him in a parking lot to retrieve the items when Pritchett offered them a ride home.
The content creator reportedly drove the women at over 100 miles per hour in the wrong direction and waved a gold handgun out of the car’s sunroof.
“I’m gonna fuck y'all and then kill y'all,” the women claim Pritchett said at one point.
The women attempted to calm him down before Pritchett allegedly took their phones, fired four to five shots out of the window, and pointed the firearm at the women. He supposedly pulled over on the shoulder of a highway and told them to get out.
“This is your only opportunity,” the women claimed Pritchett said.
After he drove off, the women flagged down help and called 911. Police reportedly said that screenshots from a location-sharing app corroborated their statements, including their claim of Pritchett speeding in his car.
Authorities say Pritchett later announced plans on his Instagram to move to Dubai and flew to Qatar on Dec. 9.
“LETTER TO THE INTERNET ... it’s finna be a BALL ... Let the show begin #HoustonTx Let me show you how to take monsters down the #SMOOTH WAY !,” Pritchett wrote on his Instagram on Saturday.
He continued, “You see it say ACCUSED right ... Don’t worry lol I’m finna give the Details on here & in the Court of Law. They gone REGRET fucking with me."
He also wrote that he has the "best lawyer in Houston."
“We have a case here of Popular YouTuber CoreySSG kidnapping two white girls and he’s currently on the run in Dubai I think ... Idk but yeah the FBI should be after him !” he wrote in a separate post with footage from the alleged ATV ride.
Pritchett’s claim to fame was as a family vlogger on YouTube where he once made videos with his now ex-wife, Carmen Pritchett.
According to NBC affiliate KPRC, efforts are underway to extradite him to the U.S.
